The full text of the survey report is online, complete with diagrams and tables.

Diagrams have been recreated using an Appleworks spreadsheet and GraphicConverter.

Most of the tables are embedded in the text. The larger ones (in Chapters 2 and 3) are shown as links - clicking on one opens a pop-up window displaying the relevant table.

Since there aren't pages as such in this web version, footnotes have been collected together (and renumbered) at the end of each chapter.

Anything added by me is shown [in square brackets].

Every web page includes chapter links (as in the left hand column on this page) and there are links to the next and previous chapters at the bottom of each page.

The Appendices (pages 127 - 173) and Annex A: Survey documents (pages 174 - 205) are not online, though references to them throughout the report have been left in place.

The Appendices contain many charts and complicated mathematical formulae beyond my ability to reproduce in HTML - they would have to be scanned as large images and as such would probably be of little use. The pages displaying the Survey documents are themselves rather fuzzy photocopies of documents with tiny print. However, if you would like any of this material, email me and I'll do my best to scan it for you.

The HMI schedules (Annex B, pages 206 - 219) are online.
